Information we use

Why we use information

We use information to respond to enquiries and bookings, set up and deliver coaching, provide app features, manage subscriptions and payments, keep accounts secure, handle complaints and safety or safeguarding concerns, and meet legal obligations.

Who processes information for us

Carl can access records where needed to provide coaching, administer accounts, respond to safety or safeguarding concerns, meet legal obligations and handle complaints. Providers process information as needed to supply their services to ELEVATE Coaching.

Where information is stored and international transfers

The Supabase database region for coaching and app records is in London, UK. Netlify and Stripe may process personal information outside the UK. Where a transfer outside the UK is subject to UK data-transfer rules, we use an appropriate safeguard, such as a UK adequacy regulation or approved contractual safeguards, as applicable. Contact Carl if you would like details about safeguards for a particular transfer.

How long we keep information

Routine account and coaching records are normally reviewed for deletion or anonymisation within two years after coaching ends, unless they are still needed for an ongoing service, complaint, dispute, insurance matter or legal obligation. Financial, payment, contract and tax records may be retained for up to six years. Accident, insurance, safeguarding, complaint or health records may be kept longer where reasonably necessary or legally required.

Your rights and choices

You can ask for a copy of your personal information, ask us to correct it, and request deletion where the law allows. You may also have rights to restrict or object to some processing and to receive certain information in a portable format. You can withdraw your explicit consent for health and wellbeing information at any time; this will not affect processing already carried out lawfully.

To request a copy or deletion, or to exercise another right, email carltil9@aol.co.uk or use the contact details above. We may ask you to verify your identity before responding. Some records may need to be retained for legal, tax, insurance, safeguarding or dispute purposes.

You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

Cookies, statistics and external services

The website uses Jetpack statistics and may use cookies or similar technologies for website functions, security and measurement. Connected integrations may use identifiers or receive activity information for the configured service. Stripe checkout and Calendly bookings are provided on their own services and are also subject to their privacy and cookie notices. You can manage or block cookies through your browser settings. The app’s privacy and consent controls let you manage optional information you share for coaching.
